What is Security mode?
Beyond its key safety features, PoolScout also provides a layer of security around your pool. When Security mode is on, PoolScout alerts if any person (adults included) is detected around the pool area. This mode can be turned on manually, or scheduled to go on/off at specific times.
For how long are videos stored and accessible in the Timeline?
By default, video footage of events is stored for seven days on a rolling basis. You can choose not to save these videos by going to Menu -> Camera and de-select the option to save the videos.
What happens if I tap shut down?
Shutting down will deactivate the Camera and you'll stop receiving a Live Stream. There will be no video or alerts as long as your Camera is shut down. You can use a timer so the system will restart at the set time automatically.
